2024 Manila International Book Fair

Hindi ako pumunta ng MIBF last year, dahil wala akong pera.

Ngayong taon, nakabili/bumili ako ng tatlong nobela, dahil may pera ako.

Yung tatlong nobela na nabili ko ay sumusunod:

"Psyche and Eros" ni Luna McNamara

"Project Hail Mary" ni Andy Weir

"Hidden Pictures" ni Jason Rekulak

Nabili ko sila sa booth ng Fully Booked.

Plan kong bumili ng nobela sa booth ng National Book Store, kaya lang maliit lang yung puwesto ng Fiction.

This year, I bought/bought three novels, because I had money.

The three novels I bought are as follows:

"Hidden Pictures" by Jason Rekulak

I bought them at the Fully Booked booth.

I plan to buy a novel at the National Book Store booth, but the Fiction booth is small.

Regarding MIBF

Originally, ang plano ko ay, umattend ako ng Manila International Book Fair, kaya lang, wala akong pera, and the same, pauwi yung tiyahin kong nagbakasyon sa UK.

Alam ko naman na may isang member ng SB19 ang magpeperform sa nabanggit na event, yun pala si Josh Cullen. Please be informed that hindi ako fan ng SB19, ng P-pop, pati K-pop. Hindi din ako hater, critic, o basher ng SB19, ng P-pop, at K-pop.

Originally, my plan was, I would attend the Manila International Book Fair, but I didn't have any money, and the same, my aunt who was on vacation in the UK was going home.

I know that there is one member of SB19 who will perform at the aforementioned event, that is Josh Cullen. Please be informed that I am not a fan of SB19, of P-pop, even K-pop. I am also not a hater, not a critic, nor abasher of SB19, of P-pop, and K-pop.

44th Manila International Book Fair

I suppose to attend the Saturday edition of this year's 44th Manila International Book Fair, but I didn't attend.

Because, I don't have enough money to buy books. And I don't have money for the fare to Mall of Asia, lunch, for snacks, and back home. Even though I have a ticket for free pass.

2021 Manila International Book Fair

The last time that I attended Manila International Book Fair was last 2019. I remember the day I attended was raining. But last year, 2020, the book fair went online, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, the book fair will go online this year, from September 30 to October 4.

On my day, on the 5th (fifth) and last day, of 40th Manila International Book Fair

The last time I was in SMX convention Center, was lastMarch 31, of this year. On the last of Franchise Asia Philippines 2019.

My parents dropped me off, in one (1) bus station in Guadalupe, Makati. Because they have delivery to one mall in Sucat, Parañaque. I took a bus going to SM Mall of Asia. The station of buses is near the Mall of Asia Globe.

There is an escalator near bus station.

The price for entrance fee for adults is 35 Philippine pesos (PhP), while 20 pesos for students, teachers, librarians, educators, etc. I (just) don't know the entrance fee for senior citizens, PWDs (persons with disabilities), and pregnant women. The last time I attend the aforementioned boof fair, was last 2016.

Nag-ikot-ikot lang ako. Wala akong biniling libro, dahil, wala akong sapat na pera. At hindi ko naisip na mag-ipon ng pera. At ko naisip na gumawa ng listahan/shopping list.

The start of the book fair.

Today is the start of 37th Manila International Book Fair, in SMX Convention Center, in SM Mall of Asia.

I don't have plans to go to the aforementioned event, in the aforementioned convention center, in the aforementioned mall. Why? Because I don't have enough fares to SM Mall of Asia. I don't have enough money to buy a ticket in the book fair. Sadyang wala akong pamasahe at pambayad sa ticket, dahil buo ang pera ko. Sa weekend ako pupunta.

At isa pa, hindi ko pa nga alam kung anong mga libro, at mga nobela ang bibilhin ko.

Tagaytay, AsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2016, 37th Manila International Book Fair, 2016 Christmas gift giving.

Kung hindi umulan sa area ng Nuvali, at sa area ng Tagaytay, wala akong ubo at sipon for three weeks. At may sweldo/kita ako ng 6 days na/ng P 2,400.

At sana, may dagdag sa load yung prepaid card ko, at may dagdag laman yung savings account ko.

At sana, may pera ako for this year’s AsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2016, at this year’s 37th Manila International Book Fair.

At sana, may dagdag ako sa Christmas gift giving this year.

2015 Manila International Book Fair

I first learned about the schedule of this year's 36th Manila International Book Fair, is via the event's Facebook fan page.

The schedule is from September 16 to 20, 2015. That's two weeks from now. And the time of the book fair is open from 10 AM to 8 PM.

I remember that the event first held in World Trade Centre Manila, before transferring to SMX Convention Center. I also remember that the book fair had a week-long book fair, from Wednesday to Tuesday.

35th Manila International Book Fair, Day 2

Last Saturday, I attended a writing workshop by Precious Pages and Lampara. This event was held during fourth (4th) day of 35th Manila International Book Fair, in SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia. I didn't expected that the writing workshop, is a writing workshop for children's literature. I left the workshop unannounced during the 5 (five) minute break.

So I decided to go the book fair. As expected, there are a lot of people.

This time, I bought Looking for Alaska (from National Book Store) by John Green, and Mockingjay. The former book was by John Green, while the latter book was written by Suzanne Collins.

I bought the former book, from the booth of National Book Store, while I bought the latter book from the booth of Fully Booked.

Both books, have 20% discount.

35th Manila International Book Fair, Day 1

Last Wednesday, I went on the first (1st) day of 35th Manila International Book Fair, in SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia. As expected, there are a lot of people.

My main purpose on that day, is to buy books, I bought An Abundance of Katherines, and Paper Towns. Both books are written by John Green. I bought these books from the booth of Fully Booked.

I currently reading the former book.

Both books have 20% discount.

35th Manila International Book Fair

I don't remember the first time I attended Manila International Book Fair. It was the first time that I attended the book fair when it was the first time it was held in SM Mall of Asia's SMX Convention Center.

I hope I attend the events to be held on the last two (2) days of the book fair.

Typhoon Karen (2012 typhoon)

It’s all Typhoon Karen’s fault. Yes, you read it right. It is all fault of that f***ing typhoon's fault, why I got sick for almost two weeks, and absent with my work for almost two weeks.

Dapat suweldo ako ng 1,200 pesos, kaso hindi ko alam kung makakapasok ako sa Biyernes.

Nagkasakit ako last September 16, 2012, Sunday, pagkagaling ko sa Manila International Book Fair sa SM Mall of Asia.
