2024 Manila International Book Fair

Hindi ako pumunta ng MIBF last year, dahil wala akong pera.

Ngayong taon, nakabili/bumili ako ng tatlong nobela, dahil may pera ako.

Yung tatlong nobela na nabili ko ay sumusunod:

"Psyche and Eros" ni Luna McNamara

"Project Hail Mary" ni Andy Weir

"Hidden Pictures" ni Jason Rekulak

Nabili ko sila sa booth ng Fully Booked.

Plan kong bumili ng nobela sa booth ng National Book Store, kaya lang maliit lang yung puwesto ng Fiction.

This year, I bought/bought three novels, because I had money.

The three novels I bought are as follows:

"Psyche and Eros" by Luna McNamara

"Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir

"Hidden Pictures" by Jason Rekulak

I bought them at the Fully Booked booth.

I plan to buy a novel at the National Book Store booth, but the Fiction booth is small.

Regarding MIBF

Originally, ang plano ko ay, umattend ako ng Manila International Book Fair, kaya lang, wala akong pera, and the same, pauwi yung tiyahin kong nagbakasyon sa UK.

Alam ko naman na may isang member ng SB19 ang magpeperform sa nabanggit na event, yun pala si Josh Cullen. Please be informed that hindi ako fan ng SB19, ng P-pop, pati K-pop. Hindi din ako hater, critic, o basher ng SB19, ng P-pop, at K-pop.

Originally, my plan was, I would attend the Manila International Book Fair, but I didn't have any money, and the same, my aunt who was on vacation in the UK was going home.

I know that there is one member of SB19 who will perform at the aforementioned event, that is Josh Cullen. Please be informed that I am not a fan of SB19, of P-pop, even K-pop. I am also not a hater, not a critic, nor abasher of SB19, of P-pop, and K-pop.

IKEA Philippines

As you may already know, or some of you may not know yet, that IKEA Philippines will opening its doors in our country by later this year.

Yesterday morning when my older sibling, mother, uncle, and I going to a drive-thru saliva test conducted by Philippine Red Cross in SM Mall of Asia, we noticed the exterior of the first branch of IKEA. The first branch is between MoA Arena, and SMX Convention Center. The exterior is already have some panels. And also, it has already the iconic IKEA logo.

I don't know why I didn't (did not) took a photo/picture of it. Here are some articles.

COVID19 saliva test.

It is been one year, and two (2) months, when I was in SM Mall of Asia.

Today, my parents, my older brother, my my mother’s brother, and I had our COVID19 saliva test in one (1) of the Philippine Red Cross’ drive-thru tests, in one (1) one of the open parking areas/places in SM Mall of Asia.

The five (5) of us did this because of my father has been coughing for the past three (3) days. Sister-in-Law Number 1 is pregnant wuth Baby # 3. And Baby #3 is going to be born with this week, or later of this month.

They have no plans to get tested when my father DO NOT COUGH for the past three days. I, personally, and honestly speaking, have plans to get tested. But, some have payments/fees, which I don’t have enough money in my financial accounts. I also don’t have the opportunity to go to the places with swab & saliva tests.

According to the people from the drive-thru testing in SM Mall of Asia, the result(s)s will be released/given to us, at least twenty four (24) hours.

The drive-thru testing in the aforementioned parking area/place, in the aformentioned mall, is conducted by Philippine Red Cross. The fee/payment for the saliva test is 2,000 PhP.

Angels Walk for Autism 2021

If my memory serves me right, I started joining the Angels Walk for Autism in SM Mall of Asia, in 2010. Because I have a nephew with an autism.

This year, because of the COVID19 pandemic, the organization Autism Society Philippines, decided to have a virtual edition of the Angels Walk, for the year 2021.

There are a lot of local news coverage of the event, both print, TV, radio and online.

On my day, on the 5th (fifth) and last day, of 40th Manila International Book Fair

The last time I was in SMX convention Center, was lastMarch 31, of this year. On the last of Franchise Asia Philippines 2019.

My parents dropped me off, in one (1) bus station in Guadalupe, Makati. Because they have delivery to one mall in Sucat, Parañaque. I took a bus going to SM Mall of Asia. The station of buses is near the Mall of Asia Globe.

There is an escalator near bus station.

The price for entrance fee for adults is 35 Philippine pesos (PhP), while 20 pesos for students, teachers, librarians, educators, etc. I (just) don't know the entrance fee for senior citizens, PWDs (persons with disabilities), and pregnant women. The last time I attend the aforementioned boof fair, was last 2016.

Nag-ikot-ikot lang ako. Wala akong biniling libro, dahil, wala akong sapat na pera. At hindi ko naisip na mag-ipon ng pera. At ko naisip na gumawa ng listahan/shopping list.

40th Manila International Book Fair

I don't remember the last time that I went to Manila International Book Fair at the SMX Convention Center, in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

The Special Events both in the Facebook page, on both mobile version or browser version is hard to read.

I'm planning to go to the event by this coming Sunday. But I am not sure if I am going to the event this coming Saturday.

Day 3: Franchise Asia Philippines 2019

My uncle and I went to the SMX Convention Center, to attend the Franchise Expo 2019. We attend the third (3rd) day of the aforementioned expo.

The expo is started last March 27. But the exhibit held last March 29, until yesterday, March 31. The entrance fee is one hundred pesos (100 PhP). I don't know if there is an entrance for students, senior citizens, and PWDs (people/persons with disability).

The function rooms, in the second floor, of SMX Convention Center also booths and exhibits.

I found a booth of the lemonade stand I usually buy lemonade drinks, in the second floor. I don't know why the sandwich stand I like has no booth there.

I don't know why some businesses costs millions of pesos. While other businesses are quote cheap.

I like the the lemonade stand, and the sandwich stand, but I don't have the money. I also don't know if I'm (I am going to franchise those two (2). And I do not know what my parents will react, if I am going to have franchises the two stands, and quite my day job.

Angels Walk for Autism 2017

I'd have been attending Angels Walk for Autism since 2010.

It held around every 3rd/4th Sunday of January in SM Mall of Asia. Except for this year. It held yesterday, February 5. Due to some of the events of Miss Universe is held at SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The Early years of my attendance, It is held in Entertainment Hall and ends in the very same area. But four (4) years ago, the event starts at the Mall of Asia Arena, and ends in Entertainment Hall.

Angels Walk for Autism is annual event, one way to promote awareness of autism.

37th Manila International Book Fair

Ngayon yung huling araw ng 37th Manila International Book Fair. Pumunta ako sa nasabing event kahapon, sa SMX Convention Center, sa SM Mall of Asia.

Syempre, maraming tao. Isa lang yung nakuha kong book. Ang book ay "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" by Ransom Riggs.

Tinanong ko yung isang staff ng Fully Booked, kung may movie tie-in ng nasabing book. Ang sabi niya ay hindi niya sigurado kung magkakaroon sila ng stock.
