Sunday night traffic before APEC Summit 2015

Last Sunday night when my parents & I that we were along Edsa, light traffic in Edsa during that time from Ayala Center in Makati to Balintawak in Quezon City.

In my mind during that time, "Sana, I wish that always light traffic on all roads, boulevard, streets, etc., in the Philippines."

To try the free trial workouts, or not to try the free trial workouts.

I tried Functional Fitness' free trials this year. I read on Pinoy Exchange that Functional Fitness Performance Centre is formerly known as Sky Fitness Manila. Okay naman yung free trial workout. To be honest, the rates are quite expensive.

According to the website of FFPC, the gym's main focus is on functional fitness.

There are two (2) other free trial I haven't tried yet. The free trial of 360 Fitness Club, and of CrossFit Ortigas.

The former is located in front of the building where my office is located. While the latter is located at the ground level of the building where my office is located.

According to the website of CrossFit Ortigas, the gym's main focus is on crossfit, while acccording to the website of 360 Fitness Club, the gym's main focus is on functional fitness.

For some reasons, I do admit that I'm still undecided on whether I try the free trial workout of the latter 2 gyms.

For more information of the gyms, visit their links.

“Taking Gifting to the Next Level”

Christmas is one of the wonderful holidays. Our country earned the distinction of celebrating world's the longest Christmas season.

Because when September 1 arrives, shopping malls, supermarkets, department stores, convenience stores, ukay-ukay stores, various specialty stores and other business establishments, and even local radio stations start playing Christmas songs, and start displaying Christmas decorations. And end around early or mid-January of the following year.

Many of us has different wish list and gift ideas for ourselves, and for our loved ones. And many of us different ways and plans to give back to others this Christmas.

What is your Christmas wish list for yourself?

So far, these are my Christmas wish list for myself:
Slip-on sneakers/shoes for men;
Shoes bags;
Slacks pants;
Visitors to my blogs;
2016 Starbucks journal;
2016 Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf journal;
2016 Seattle's Best Coffee journal;

What are your Christmas gift ideas for your loved ones this year?

So far, I'm planning to give my loved ones with pasta-inspired food with, salmon, various pasta noodles, etc;
Clothes for my two (2) nephews;
Journals for my other nephews;
Some treats for my other older/adult relatives

How do you plan to give back to others this Christmas?

One plan I'm (I am) doing since Christmas 2011, is collecting stamps on Seattle's Best Coffee Philippines' Dream Journal. Their partner is World Vision.

I'm also planning to give Christmas gifts some of my fellow employees this year. Like what I did last year.

"For more updates about this year’s “Merry SM Christmas” campaign, visit SM’s official Christmas microsite (https://www.smsupermalls.com/merrysmchristmas2015) and follow its official social media accounts at Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/smsupermalls), Twitter (https://twitter.com/smsupermalls), and Instagram (https://instagram.com/smsupermalls/); and get an insider access to all the fun happenings at SM Supermalls nationwide through Viber (http://chats.viber.com/SMsupermalls). McDonald's Chicken Fillet a la King

I do eat chicken fillet meal with rice by McDonald's. The product is being endorsed by AlDub (Alden Richards & Yaya Dub/Maine Mendoza).

Here's what I think on the aforementioned product.

The product is the same chicken fillet meal with rice. But the twist is that it has a la king sauce. The sauce reminds me of the sauce used on making baked macaroni.

Seattle's Best Coffee's Strawberry Cheesecake and Bacon and Cheese Breakfast Skillet.

Seattle's Best Coffee's Strawberry Cheesecake, is one of the coffee shop's holiday drinks this year. While Bacon and Cheese Breakfast Skillet is one of the new breakfast meals of the aforementioned coffee shop.

Seattle's Best Coffee's Strawberry Cheesecake, is one of the coffee shop's holiday drinks this year. While Bacon and Cheese Breakfast Skillet is one of the new breakfast meals of the aforementioned coffee shop.

The Strawberry Cheesecake drink is combination of strawberry and cheescake. Mas nalasahan ko yung cheesecake flavour. Kati yung strawberry flavour.

With flash.

The drink comes with toppings on top of the drink.

Bacon and Cheese Breakfast Skillet is okay. The bacon tidbits are crunchy. The French breads are crunchy, too. It has two eggs. I wonder on kung papaano nila pinuno yung skillet ng egg white.

Closeup of the aforementioned food/skillet.

The price of Strawberry Cheesecake is 170 Philippine pesos. While the price of Bacon and Cheese Breakfast Skillet is 210 Philippine pesos.

LRT 2, Cyma, and Robinsons Magnolia.

I, myself, a first time rider on LRT 2. Because, I never tried using/riding on LRT 2 since its inception and opened to the public.

Malabo yung sagot niya, kaya nag-walk out ako.

From Gilmore Station, kumanan daw ako at straight ahead lang.

I noticed that the Robinsons Magnolia branch of Cyma is quite small. Pero puwede na. And it's been a year and 3 (three) months since I was in the aforementioned shopping mall. The first I was there was July 2014.

Sambo Kojin in SM Megamall Atrium.

The office I currently working as an employee, had a buffet dinner in Sambo Kojin on SM Megamall's 3rd floor of Atrium. The branch itself is big. It is a combination of Japanese and Korean cuisine/food.

It was my second time to eat in Japanese buffet restaurant, after Yakimix. And this is my first time to eat in Korean, buffet restaurant. And it was my first time to eat in a buffet restaurant with the combination of Japanese and Korean food/cuisine.

Just like most Japanese restaurants, Sambo Kojin's interior is Japanese inspired. Even the restrooms for men and ladies.

There's a Japanese/Korean carbonara, but I don't know on how one of my bosses found. I don't know why I didn't tried their miso soup. There is a soup that I do not know what.

The branch has two (2) selections of main course: items that you're going to cook it; and food items are already cooked. And of course, there are appetisers and desserts.

Sambo Kojin has other branches:
Eastwood;
Edsa;
West Avenue;
SM Southmall

The Edsa branch is located, of course, located along Edsa. It near the branches of Dad's, Saisaki, Kamayan.

Their SM Megamall branch was the first branch I visited.

Traffic and PNP-PHG.

Since I went back to my office last October 3, naging from light to moderate ang traffic, everytime na umuuwi mako ng 6 PM mula sa trabaho. There are times na nakatayo ako. And most of the time na nakatayo ako.

There are times na nakakasakay ako sa Edsa Central.

I'm not sure kung last Friday or Saturday ako nakasakay ako ng bus, pagkagamit ko ng men's room 2nd (second floor) ng Forum Robinsons.

I mean, yung morning rush hour.

JacksGap: One Week in the Philippines

I first learned about the video, is about a month or two months ago. But the video itself is published on the JacksGap channel 3 months ago.

I wonder the places in the Philippines they visited.

If your asking on how I learned about Jack's Gap (JacksGap), is that I asked one forum member (called PexEr/Pexer) of Pinoy Exchange who are the guys as her avatar. I just don't remember her reply.

Heres the video:

This weekend. October 9 to 11, 2015. Day 3

Tulad noon second day, nagising ako ng 5 AM, noon third day (3rd) namin, nagising ako ng few minutes past 5 AM. So I decided that my cellphone and my iPod touch. Pumunta mako sa third floor, to take photos and videos, (most) especially on taking video/s and photos while the sun is rising. After doing these, I decided to walk around near our room. Yung amoy ng hamog (dew in English), ang first (1st) impression ko, ay amoy ng Palmolive.

After eating our breakfast, my older brother and and my sister-in-law decided na mag-bisikleta (mag-bicycle), and my mother, my two (2) nephews, and I went to the Lagoon Island while waiting for them.

After the former na mag-bicycle, we went to our respective rooms to get some things, before going to the two swimming pools.

Noong nasa lower pool kami, tinanong yung female employee, saan yung pupating upper pool.

This weekend. October 9 to 11, 2015. Day 2

Nagising ako ng few minutes past 5 AM, noong second (2nd) day namin. So I decided that my cellphone and my iPod touch. I noticed that there's (there is) a male employee mopping the ground floor.

The only question I remember is how big is the country club. He said that the country club is 22 hectares. I noticed greeted me good morning. Of course, I greeted him back.

While walking, I noticed the sun is about to rise. I went to the third floor to take photos and videos. After doing these, I decided to walk around near our room. Yung amoy ng hamog (dew in English), ang first (1st) impression ko, ay amoy ng Palmolive.

-------

I went to other parts of the country club:
Boat Wharf - puwede ka mag-boat paddling
Lagoon Island
Bikes and bicycles - according to a male employee for that day, 100 pesos for 30 minutes, 200 pesos for 1 hour

I asked a male security guard, kung puwedeng gamitin yung bahay na malapit sa tatlong apartelles. He said na doon nakatira yung may-ari.

May hanging bridge, na under repair.

-------

After lunch, nag-ikot-ikot kami ng mother ko, sister-in-law ko, with my 2 nephews.

Tiningan namin yung swimming pool. Ito yung Lower Pool. It has jacuzzi. Lower Pool is near tennis court and basketball court.

May kalakihan yung upper pool. May slide yung pambata na swimming pool. Medyo maliit yung lower pool.

-------

Yung beach volleyball at yung children's playground located sa isang lugar.

-------

Masarap yung fish fillet with mango sauce.

This weekend. October 9 to 11, 2015. Day 1

Last Friday, until last Sunday, my mother, my older brother, my sister-in-law, my two (2) nephews, and I went to Graceland Estates and Country Club. The country club is located Tayabas, Quezon.

We went there, because my older brother is a best man to his friend.

We left our house around 10 AM, and arrived in Northbound of Petron along South Luzon Expressway around 3 PM. Why? Because the moderate traffic on Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City; and moderate traffic from Monte de Pierra to Santolan along Edsa.

We arrive on the aforementioned country club between 5 and 6 PM, because one (1) reason is that madaming tricycle.

We ate our dinner at Memphis Garden Cafe and Grille. Mostly the restaurant offer Filipino food.

The Laperal House

It's already October, and some local (Filipino) TV shows WILL air Halloween-inspired episodes.

One of the Halloween-inspired TV episodes is the Laperal episode aired on GMA News' I-Witness. I saw this on my YouTube channel.

Here's the video from the episode of I-Witness, and uploaded on GMA News and Public Affairs's channel.

And here's the full episode, uploaded by the user Jose Kangkong.

Magandang Gabi Bayan have also an episode on the Lapera House. And uploaded by ABS-CBN News on their YouTube channel.
