One Direction's Midnight Memories (Deluxe Edition)

Artist: One Direction
Album: Midnight Memories (Deluxe Edition) / (The Ultimate Edition)
Released: 25 November 2013
Recorded: 2013
Genre: Pop rock
Label: Columbia, Syco

I may not be a fan of One Direction, but I like Midnight Memories, more than Up All Night and Take Me Home.

Diana is a bit rockier for them.

For me, the track Midnight Memories is a bit rockier for them.

The song You and I is good for their voices.

I hope that Don't Forget Where You Belong to be their next single. The song is good for their voices.

Strong is okay.

Happily have more energy.

Right Now is a slow song with a bit of rock music approach.

I find Little Black Dress is a song with 1980s flavor of rock music.

Through the Dark is a catchy song without the rockier edge tone. And also, this is a slow song without the blend of rock music.

Some music of Something Great reminds me of one of the songs by Philip Philips.

Little White Lies is happier song with rock music. And a bit too rock for the band.

Like some of the songs in the album, Better Than Words have the blend of rock music.

Why Don't We Go There reminds me of What Makes you Beautiful and Live While We're Young with rock tone.

Does He Know? is like a song that makes you dance.

Alive reminds of a late 1990s/2000s song, but this song is rockier and edgier.

Half A Heart is a slow song that reminds me of Little Things and Gotta Be You.

So far, excluding Best Song Ever and Story of My Life,Don't Forget Where You Belong and Through the Dark are my favorite songs.

I noticed that among the five members of the group, most of the songs written co-written by Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. Followed by Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik.

In general, Midnight Memories is a pop music album that contains a portion of rock music and dance music. Somehow the band improve for this album, than on their previous albums. But there are songs are forgettable.

‪The Quarterback (Music From the TV Series)

Title:‪ The Quarterback (Music From the TV Series)‬
Genre: Pop
Length: 20:52
Label: Columbia / 20th Century Fox TV

Among the cover versions of the extended play (EP), "Seasons of Love" is my favorite track/song from the album.

Okay naman young pagkaka-cover ng ibang tracks.

'Family Guy' Kills Off Major Character

I didn't understand the episode "Life of Brian" dahil sa mga forces na pasaway.

This is the first episode of the show that I watched. One reason that I watched the episode, due to that the one of the major characters is killed off.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

I like the first film, I like the 2nd film. Like the first film, the 2nd film is faithful to the book source. It is been faithful, but not 100% faithful.

One subplot that I'm quite expecting is that, na may na-meet so Katniss na dalawang runaways, but unfortunately, wala sa movie/film adaptation. Pero okay lang.

Generally, maganda yung pagkaka-adapt.

Jennifer Lawrence is love.

Pacific Rim (2013 film)

Pacific Rim is a good film.

I have a feeling that this film is will be a strong contender for next year's Oscars for the following categories: Best Visual Effects; Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing; and Best Cinematography.

Good performance for Idris Elba as the commander.

I am dreaming the same body of the lead actor's body. :-D

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Romeo and Juliet (2013 film)

First and foremost, I haven't yet seen the movie version featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. But I like the 2013 film.

I like the cinematography. I like the production design.

I like the chenistry of Hailee Steinfeld and Douglas Booth as Juliet and Romeo respectively. I don't know which character portrayed by Ed Westwick.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Thor: The Dark World

I do admit that I like the first Thor film. With this film, I like this film.

I like the fight scenes. I think that Christopher Eccleston is not that effective as the movie's villain

Loki is still cunning.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5

Gravity (2013 film)

I watched the movie, just out of curiousity. The acting of George Clooney and Sandra Bullock is/are okay naman.

I do admit na hindi ko naintindihan yung movie.

I have a feeling that the movie will be a strong contender for Best Visual Effects for next year's Oscars.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Carrie (2013 film)

I don't remember the first film that I watched, based on the novel or short story written by Stephen King. But Carrie is the latest watched based on the novel by him.

Although I read the book, but the ending of the novel is different from the ending of the 2013 film.

In general, the movie is not that good, but it is not that bad either. I imagined Margaret White is being portrayed by Julianne Moore.

One Direction - Story of My Life

The first time that I watched the video, was in MYX Hit Chart, kagabi sa hotel room ng uncle at auntie ko.

Best Gift Ever

No, the title has nothing to do with One Direction's song Best Song Ever. But rather, Jollibee's new theme for year's Christmas for giving gifts, particulary toys, for less fortunate children.
