Valentine's Day is an event that most countries celebrate. Last Monday, January 12, I learned that the local book store Powerbooks is this thing called "Mystery Book Date." I don't know, but I consider this as promo. It is started from February 12, until February 28. I bought these books in Shangri-La Plaza.

Last Monday, February 12, I bought the books "Challenger Deep" by Neal Shusterman, and "Flowers for Alegron" by Daniel Keyes.

"Challenger Deep" costs 359 pesos, while "Flowers for Alegron" costs 375 pesos. Due to that I have a Powercard*, the formers costs 323.10, and the latter costs 337.50 pesos.

Last Tuesday, February 13, I bought the book "Einstein's Dreams" by Alan Lightman. The book costs 585 pesos. Due to that I have a Powercard*, the book costs 526.50 pesos.

.

* Powercard is a discount card. 5% on credit card, and 10% on cash. (I'm/I am not sure if the Powercard works with debit cards.
