So far in the film categories, only "Gravity"; "The Croods"; "Despicable Me 2"; and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" are the only movies I'd already seen. I haven't seen "Frozen", though.
So far in the Television categories, I'd seen "House of Cards" for the first few episodes. And currently, American Horror Story: Coven.

2014 Grammy Awards nominees / 56th Annual Grammy Awards
At first, I didn't know that the nominees for 2014 Grammy Awards is already been announced. I forgot where and how I learned about it.
There are nominees that I'm expecting to be nominated aren't nominated. And there are nominees that I'm not expected to be nominated.
50/50 for Taylor Swift for winning Album of the Year and Best Country Album for her album, Red; Best Country Song for "Begin Again"; and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Highway Don't Care" with Tim McGraw & Keith Urban.
I wonder witch artists and their respective songs, to be included in the album, 2014 Grammy Nominees.

Nelson Mandela (July 18 1918 – December 5 2013)
I don't know have enough knowledge on the life of Nelson Mandela, but he's one of the political figures that I admire.
All I know is that tried to unite his people. He tried uniting uniting his people thru football in the movie, Invictus, starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon.
I haven't yet checked , the cause of his death. He is 95.
I mentioned earlier that I admire him as a political figure. I admire him in a sense that, during his time as president of South Africa, he did his best to unite his fellow country men.

Life of Pie: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Artist: Mychael Danna
Title: Life of Pi: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Genre: Soundtrack
Length: 65:10
Label: Sony Music
Most of the tracks in the album contains Indian and French music. The album contains Indian music, due to the fact that, most of the characters in the movie are Indian actors. The album contains French music, due to the fact that, Canada's official languages are English and French. And also the composer, Mychael Danna is a Canadian. And the writer of the novel, Yann Martel, is a Canadian.
And also, I notice that the soundtrack album has influence of fantasy genre due to fact the the novel and film is a fantasy story.

One Direction's Midnight Memories (Deluxe Edition)
Artist: One Direction
Album: Midnight Memories (Deluxe Edition) / (The Ultimate Edition)
Released: 25 November 2013
Recorded: 2013
Genre: Pop rock
Label: Columbia, Syco
I may not be a fan of One Direction, but I like Midnight Memories, more than Up All Night and Take Me Home.
Diana is a bit rockier for them.
For me, the track Midnight Memories is a bit rockier for them.
The song You and I is good for their voices.
I hope that Don't Forget Where You Belong to be their next single. The song is good for their voices.
Strong is okay.
Happily have more energy.
Right Now is a slow song with a bit of rock music approach.
I find Little Black Dress is a song with 1980s flavor of rock music.
Through the Dark is a catchy song without the rockier edge tone. And also, this is a slow song without the blend of rock music.
Some music of Something Great reminds me of one of the songs by Philip Philips.
Little White Lies is happier song with rock music. And a bit too rock for the band.
Like some of the songs in the album, Better Than Words have the blend of rock music.
Why Don't We Go There reminds me of What Makes you Beautiful and Live While We're Young with rock tone.
Does He Know? is like a song that makes you dance.
Alive reminds of a late 1990s/2000s song, but this song is rockier and edgier.
Half A Heart is a slow song that reminds me of Little Things and Gotta Be You.
So far, excluding Best Song Ever and Story of My Life,Don't Forget Where You Belong and Through the Dark are my favorite songs.
I noticed that among the five members of the group, most of the songs written co-written by Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. Followed by Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik.
In general, Midnight Memories is a pop music album that contains a portion of rock music and dance music. Somehow the band improve for this album, than on their previous albums. But there are songs are forgettable.

Title: The Quarterback (Music From the TV Series)
Genre: Pop

Among the cover versions of the extended play (EP), "Seasons of Love" is my favorite track/song from the album.
Okay naman young pagkaka-cover ng ibang tracks.

'Family Guy' Kills Off Major Character
I didn't understand the episode "Life of Brian" dahil sa mga forces na pasaway.
This is the first episode of the show that I watched. One reason that I watched the episode, due to that the one of the major characters is killed off.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
I like the first film, I like the 2nd film. Like the first film, the 2nd film is faithful to the book source. It is been faithful, but not 100% faithful.
One subplot that I'm quite expecting is that, na may na-meet so Katniss na dalawang runaways, but unfortunately, wala sa movie/film adaptation. Pero okay lang.
Generally, maganda yung pagkaka-adapt.
Jennifer Lawrence is love.
Rating 4 out of 5.

Pacific Rim (2013 film)
Pacific Rim is a good film.
I have a feeling that this film is will be a strong contender for next year's Oscars for the following categories: Best Visual Effects; Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing; and Best Cinematography.
Good performance for Idris Elba as the commander.
I am dreaming the same body of the lead actor's body. :-D

Romeo and Juliet (2013 film)
First and foremost, I haven't yet seen the movie version featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. But I like the 2013 film.
I like the cinematography. I like the production design.
I like the chenistry of Hailee Steinfeld and Douglas Booth as Juliet and Romeo respectively. I don't know which character portrayed by Ed Westwick.

Thor: The Dark World
I do admit that I like the first Thor film. With this film, I like this film.
I like the fight scenes. I think that Christopher Eccleston is not that effective as the movie's villain
Loki is still cunning.

Carrie (2013 film)
I don't remember the first film that I watched, based on the novel or short story written by Stephen King. But Carrie is the latest watched based on the novel by him.
Although I read the book, but the ending of the novel is different from the ending of the 2013 film.
In general, the movie is not that good, but it is not that bad either. I imagined Margaret White is being portrayed by Julianne Moore.

Best Gift Ever
No, the title has nothing to do with One Direction's song Best Song Ever. But rather, Jollibee's new theme for year's Christmas for giving gifts, particulary toys, for less fortunate children.

A Post-It word and some filing to do.
Notes:
* Miss Jane is not her real name.
"At ikaw Miss Name. May pina-file ka sa sakin, at hindi ko makita, pagagalita mo ako. Sa wala talaga dun eh. Kapal ng mukha mo."

My points on Smart Rewards.
Due to that I learned that my points on Smart Rewards is 13k points, I'm planning to use it when the movie Carrie will shown here in the Philippine on Friday next week.
I read one blog post, and it seems to be complicated. Because I haven't tried the procedure yet.
And I'm hoping and wishing that the weather next will be clear.
The Carrie movie I'm planning to watch is the one with Julianne Moore and Chloé Grace Moretz.

Browsing the Internet while working.
It is been almost a week since my last blog post. As the title of this blog post suggests, thus blog post is about browsing the Internet while working.
Way back 2011, nakikita ko itong si Female Accountant, nagba-browse ng Internet while working.
I will not mention on what she whispered to me.
Ang bottom line is this.
Look who's talking, b****.

Part 2: Sky Fitness Manila
I sent a text message to Coach Mike (not his real name) to confirm the time which is 2 PM.
May pinasagutan sakin na some info about some personal and health info.
1) May pinagawa sa akin sa magkabilang talampakan using a golf ball.
3.1) Nakatayo ka, few steps away ng ang dalawang paa mo, raise your hands;
3.2) Squat position;
3.3) Upo ka and your elbows are between your thighs;
3.4) Squat position;
3.5) Step 3.1
5) And the last thing he asked to do is sprinting na pinaka mabilis ko. 2 beses ko ito ginawa.
May isang sequence na: Pinatakbo ako ng 2 beses, pero ang tanda ko, between activities 3 and 4.

Part 1: Sky Fitness Manila
I first learned about Sky Fitness Manila when I was roaming around The Podium early this year. One time around April 2013, may nakita ako na 2 employees ng SFM, just few steps outside the gym. And they gave some info.
This July 2013, I visit the branch1 and ask some questions, and Coach Mike (not his real name) toured me around their branch.
Last Thursday, I called the branch, that I'm planning to avail the free trial workout and told them that si Coach Mike ang nag-tour sa akin. Unfortunately, he is having his (day) off. I decided later that day na the following na lang, and okay lang sa kanya.
Notes:
1 Their first branch is in Makati.

Last Monday afternoon was my first time eat an ice cream from Pinoy Sorbetes. The first flavor I ate is Chocomint, which costs 75 pesos in a medium-sized cone.
The only branch I know of Pinoy Sorbetes, is in Food Choices, TriNoma. For more information, use Yahoo! and/or Google.
Masarap naman yung Chocomint. Yun nga lang, bitin ako.

Kids using iPad, iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy Tab, other tablets and other similar gadgets.
Here are some reason of mine, why I'm not in favor of that kids are using iPad, iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy Tab, other tablets and other similar gadgets. The reasons are in random order. And based on my experiences, articles I read, etc.
1) It's too early for the kid below 5 years old below to use these gadgets.
3) Mahirap pakainin, etc.

“OTJ: On the Job”, “The Way Way Back” and “Insidious: Chapter 2”.
I’m planning to watch 3 (three) movies this month, but due to financial reasons, I decided not to. The movies are “OTJ: On the Job”, “The Way Way Back” and “Insidious: Chapter 2”.
“OTJ: On the Job”
I do admit that I rarely watch Pinoy films. I have reasons I rarely watch Pinoy movies.
I don’t remember the last Pinoy flick I watched. It is either that Vhong Navarro/Toni Gonzaga-starred comedy flick, or the Kris Aquino-starred horror movie.
I read that “OTJ” is good movie. Like I mentioned earlier, I decided not to. And I don’t if the Gerald Anderson/Piolo Pascual-starred film is still showing at the local cinemas.
“The Way Way Back”
Same 2 reasons with “OTJ”: financial reasons and I don’t know if the movie is still showing at local cinemas.
“Insidious: Chapter 2”
I didn’t watch this movie when it was shown at the local cinemas few years ago. Meaning, I failed to watch the movie.
I have to waith atleast 5 (five) months or so, to be able to watch these 3 (three) movies.
Disclaimer:
I'm not saying that I'm not financial stable.
Short lang ako sa pera.

On registering and updating my Nuffnang Philippines, and updating my Blogger account.
Last night, nahirapan ako mag-register sa website ng Nuffnang Philippines, with no disrespect to Nuffnang Philippines. Peace. And tried to update post the 3 (three) ads on the blog of mine. Yes, on this blog of mine. Nahirapan ako sa pagpost nung tatlong ads.
I tried to post the 3 (three) ads this morning, the same thing last night. Nahirapan ako sa pagpost nung tatlong ads.
I tried posting the 3 (three) ads this evening and followed the steps. And viola, it was a success. I'm not sure if the ad on the top of the Blogger account of mine.

I miss this kind of animation in the animated feature films.

Finding Nemo
Disclaimer:
I do know that the movie was released 13 years ago.
In the movie “Finding Nemo” Marlin is overprotective on his son Nemo because his right fin is “very small due to the barracuda attack, which limits his swimming ability”. Due to unsuccessfully attempt to save Nemo, “Marlin meets Dory, a good-hearted and optimistic regal blue tang with short-term memory loss.”
In reality, there are times that some people who are overprotective with other people due to their disabilities. Resulting that they don’t have enough self-confidence, etc.
In the case of Dory, Marlin treats Dory negatively and attempted to leave her, due to having short-term memory. Despite this, she still accompanies Marlin to save Nemo.

Toy Story 3
Disclaimer:
I do know that the movie was released 3 years ago.
On the movie “Toy Story 3”, Andy is having a hard time of letting go of his toys particularly Woody and Buzz Lightyear. One time, Buzz and the rest of the gang thought Andy abandoned them, and decided to stay in Sunnyside Daycare. When Woody couldn’t persuade them, he left the daycare and stuck in a tree and until that Bonnie found Woody.
During Woody’s time with Bonnie and her toys, Woody realized that Bonnie’s treat her toys well, like the way Andy’s treatment with his toys.
Near the end of the film Andy brought the toys to the house of Bonnie, and introduced them to her. And that time, Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang/group have a new home, earned a new owner, meet new friends.
In reality, there are things we are having a hard time of the things that are close to our heart. Even we are having a hard time of the people who are close to our heart.

It's already rainy season.
While on the other hand, in my opinion, may part-time ako.

First and foremost, I'm not a fan of Stephen King. With no disrespect to Mr. Stephen King. Second, I'm not a fan of the actress who plays Carrie, and Ms Julianne Moore. With no disrespect to them.
I'd already read the book early this year. And I'haven't seen the first adaptation, that nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.

Now You See Me (2013 film)
First and foremost, I have no intention to watch “Now You See Me”. The movie is star-studded (Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, David Franco, Michael Caine, and Mélanie Laurent, Common (entertainer), and with the cameo appearance of Conan O'Brien.
I may not be a fan of suspense, or thriller, or any similar genre, but I like this film. One reason is that I am fascinated with magic. There’s a twist in the film. I didn’t saw it coming.
For me, may konting comedy.
I like the movie’s direction; I like the actors' interaction. I somehow quite don’t understand the flow of the story. One reason is that, maingay kahit papaano yung mga katabi ko.

My "resurrected" Samsung Galaxy Mini 2.
I don't know when will the "resurrection" will last.
My parents went yesterday in the SM North Edsa branch of Samsung's Service Center. They bought a new battery. I didn't ask for the details.
When I'm about to sleep last night, umilaw at tumunog yung cellphone ko.
As fo now, and as of this post. I'll make an observation, kung mangyayari ang ganitong pangyayari, for the next few days, weeks, or months.

Jollibee's Amazing Aloha.
If my memory serves me right, I still remember that it was offer during mid-1990s to late 1990s.

First time customer of these 2 stalls.
Last May 17, Friday, it was my first time to be a customer at Teaberi and Chuck's Grub Fish & Chips. I ordered at Teaberi is Winter melon Tea. And I ordred at Chuck's Grub Fish & Chips is their cream dory.
I like both the drink and the food. Both stalls are located in 2nd Floor, Food Choices, Trinoma. They are in front of Le Ching.
Teaberi is food business specializes in milk tea. While Chuck's Grub Fish & Chips is specializes in, well of course, fish & chips.
In case you didn't know. Fish & chips is common in England. Chips is the french fries version in the United Kingdom.
UPDATE:
Too bad that Teaberi and Chuck's Grub Fish & Chips are already closed.

Khaled Hosseni's "And the Mountains Echoed"
Finally, Khaled Hosseini has a anew book called "And the Mountains Echoed". Honestly, I don't know if the is already in the Philippine bookstores like, National Book Store, Powerbooks, and Fully Booked.
According to the Wikipedia article, his new book is more on siblings:
The book is in harcover edition and costss 899 pesos. According to Powerbooks' Facebook fan page.

"I am forever drawn to family as a recurring central theme of my writing. My earlier novels were at heart tales of fatherhood and motherhood. My new novel is a multi-generational family story as well, this time revolving around brothers and sisters, and the ways in which they love, wound, betray, honor, and sacrifice for each other. I am thrilled at the chance to share this book with my readers."

2 job fairs this week.
There will be 2 job fairs this week. The first/1st leg will be held this Tuesday & Wednesday in Trinoma, in Quezon City. It will be held in the Activity Center of the aforementioned mall.
And the second/2nd leg will held this Thursday & Friday in SM Megamall. It will be held in Mega Trade Hall 3.
It's been around three/3-and-a-half years that I have been attending job fairs in the malls and no luck. I also tried applying in call centers, but with no luck.
I don't know if I'm going to attend the aforementioned job fairs. I didn't know that there was job fair in Glorietta, until I read today's issue of Philippine Daily Inquirer.

The Great Gatsby (2013 film)
I’m not really a fan of Baz Lurhman, Leonardo DiCaprio, nor Tobey Maguire. When I learned that Baz Luhrman, would direct the new film adaptation of The Great Gatsby, I thought Baz Luhrman will include musical plots.
At the time I watch the movie yesterday afternoon, I don’t see musical plots except for the weekend party scenes.
The movie adaptation is not that good, nor not that bad. I like the interaction of the actors.
I like the production, and the cinematography.
The face of a figure seen in the book is also seen at the billboard in the movie.

I may not be a fan DC Comic and Marvel comics, the first Iron Man movie is the first comics-based movie that I like. I like this this installment.
I don't know if Robert Downey, Jr. will reprise his role in the The Avengers sequel, and even in the fourth Iron Man movie.

I learned from the app’s website, that application’s price, 0.99 USD, from the iTunes page in the Apple website.
The app is currently not available on the Android platform.
I wish that the app would have a “free version”.

On circuit traning. And the 2 gyms I know.
It's been a long time that I want to know on how, an exercise called circuit training works.
Only 2 gyms I know, that specialize on circuit training. They are 360 Fitness Club and Crossfit Manila.
First, I discuss on 360 Fitness Club.
I don't remember on how I learned this gym. Their gym is just across from the "office" (that) I work. I remember that their gym is in the 16th floor of Strata 100, in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Way back 2011. Now their gym is in the 22nd floor, in the same building and location. Alongside Yellow Halo, Polecats Manila, Yoga+ (pronounced as Yoga Plus), and others.
The club also have other 2 branches: the 1st branch is in Makati; and the 2nd branch is in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
In terms of convenience: in terms of work, I can go to the Ortigas branch; in terms of no work, I can go to the Timog branch.
Now, on Crossfit Manila.
I just learned about this gym this morning, while searching and learning more on circuit training via Bing.
The Eastwood branch is only listed on the "Contact Us" section of CFM's website. Although they have a branch in Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City.
For more information about this gym, visit their website.
Here are the links.

Fuck LBM.
Kahapon ng umaga nagkaroon ako ng LBM, or diarrhea. LBM means Loose Bowel Movement.
