Last Wednesday night of July 30, I asked my father to accompany me to the baranggay hall of Bagbaguin. The next day July 1, Thursday, my father and I went to the aforementioned hall, but the the doctor is not there. Our purpose is that to certify the letter of my stuttering disability.
One of the employees there said that the doctor is not available that day on the baranggay hall, because of his schedule in vaccination program here in Valenzuela City. The same employee said that the aforementioned doctor may be available tomorrow (Friday) or Monday.
Last Friday, July 2, my father called the landline number of the baranggay hall. And told me that the doctor is not available that day.
Last Monday afternoon of July 5, my father & I went back to the baranggay hall to certify my letter of my stuttering disability. The doctor is available, and he certified it.
After that, the two (2) of us went to our house, and after awhile, went to the Sta. Maria, Bulacan branch of WalterMart, with my mother. The purpose of it, is to apply for the Philippine National ID. it is located in the Cinemas/Cyberzone area of the aforementioned mall. If my memory serves, the Philippine National ID will be delivered to our house by three (3) months. So we may receive it by October.
The next day, the afternoon of July 6, may father & I went to the City Hall of Valenzuela City, to get my PWD ID. My father talked to one of the female staff assigned to the PWD section, and fill up some information about my stuttering disability. After awhile, the aforementioned female staff and I asked me some questions about my stuttering disability, if I have hypertension(?), etc. I fill up some information, and write my signature. And I gave one piece of 2x2 picture. She told me to wait. the other female staff, next to the first one to write my signature to the PWD ID, she put the PWD ID in a transparent plastic case, and gave my two booklets. One for medicines, and one for grocery/groceries. The PWD ID is valid for 5 (five) years, renewable. The initial release of the aforementioned ID is free of charge, but it has a fee if the ID is lost or stolen. I don’t if there will be a fee for renewing the ID. And I just don’t know the amount for the renewable fee.
And the next day, Wednesday afternoon of July 7, my mother put some pieces of double-masking tape to the 1x1 picture and 2x2 picture, to the medicine purchase booklet, and purchase booklet, respectively.
And at least, I have an advantage against to the people who bully me when I speak.
* PWD mean persons with disability.
