The one with the announced nominees of next year's Grammys.

I was surprised that Justin Bieber's album, Purpose, was nominated for the category Album of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album. While his song, Love Yourself for Song of the Year. He, himself, was nominated for the category, Best Pop Solo Performance, for the same song.

I also didn't expected that Adele's song, Hello, was nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance. While her album, 25, was nominated for Album of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album.

I didn't expected that the two (2) soundtrack albums fo the TV show/series, Stranger Things, were nominated for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.

Bloggys 2016 nomination starts today.

As the title of this post suggests, Bloggys 2016 nomination starts today.

Last year kasi, September 1 of last year nagstart yung pag-nominate ng blogs. Unfortunately, this blog of mine is one of the general nominees sa Personal/Diary category. It didn't make it to the seminfinalists/finalists.

“Why I want an OPPO F1s”

I'd love to win an OPPO F1s phone because for these reasons:

Part 1:

OPPO F1s has two 4G SIM slots supporting top speed of up to 150 MBPS.

Another reason is that we connect to the Internet and updates from social media. Sometimes we play online games like Pokémon GO, we send tweets on Twitter, upload pictures on photo-based platforms (i.e. Instagram, EyeEm/Eyeem, and 500px), updates and news on Facebook and Google+.

Part 2:

OPPO F1s phone has an additional memory card slot to expand storage up to 128GB. And OPPO F1s phone keep life balanced with the new triple-slot tray.

I like the additional memory card slot up to 128GB, because it's my hobby to take photos and videos.

Part 3:

With 32GB ROM, I have plenty of room for all my favorite media and memories.

I first learned that the deal of MRT/LRT common station is reached, on my Facebook feed via this article from Rappler.

In my mind, "Finally, a deal is reached. The public, particularly the commuting public, will benefit of that deal."

I hope that the MRT/LRT common station will be built as soon as possible.

37th Manila International Book Fair

Ngayon yung huling araw ng 37th Manila International Book Fair.

Syempre, maraming tao. Isa lang yung nakuha kong book. Ang book ay "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" by Ransom Riggs.

The start of the book fair.

Today is the start of 37th Manila International Book Fair, in SMX Convention Center, in SM Mall of Asia.

I don't have plans to go to the aforementioned event, in the aforementioned convention center, in the aforementioned mall. Why? Because I don't have enough fares to SM Mall of Asia. I don't have enough money to buy a ticket in the book fair.

President Duterte says no to Steve Harvey to host Miss Universe next year.

As you may already know about what happened on last year's Miss Universe brouhaha. Steve Harvey announced Miss Colombia instead of Miss Philippines.

But with yesterday's issue of Philippine Daily Inquirer and Philippine Star, it seems that President Duterte have no interest on Steve Harvey being the host for next year's edition of Miss Universe.

If I'm in Pia Wurtzbach's shoes, of course, I'll be surprised. And If I'm in Miss COlombia Ariadna Gutiérrez's shoes, of course, I'll get hurt and offended.

For more information, please watch the video below. And please read the articles below.

On this card from a Filipino-based coffee company.

I learned about the Figaro Coffee Club Card yesterday, when I was browsing my Facebook feed while eating my breakfast at Wendy's SM The Block.

I asked if people who would like to avail the card, but they aren't available on that day, or they are busy on that day. The person who answered my question might didn't understand my question.

I didn't know that Figaro Coffee Company is offering (already) a card. I don't have enough knowledge on this card. I'm not sure if this card is similar to other cards being offered by other coffee shops like Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, etc.

This guide from an article in a Facebook fan page.

Way back around 2003 or 2004 I worked out in a fitness gym, in a mall in Quezon City. Because I was busy with my college studies, I used my remaining 10 days there in that gym.

For the past days I'm planning to workout again in a gym. This time the gym I want to use is close to where I work. But I have a feeling that I will not allow by my parents.

Recently I found an article from a Facebook fan page of Manifesto. The title of the article is "How to Build Your Own Machine-Free Fitness Center at Home"

I want to do the article, however, I did not have money to buy the equipments and items. I only have small income/salary.

And also, my family has small house.

The one with this Netflix original series.

Warning:
This blog post may contain spoilers.

I watched the Netflix original series, Stranger Things, for two (2) days. I will not tell how. But I will something.

First, this series reminds me of the child actor who portray Michael/Mike, to the child actor in the movie "Super 8".
Second, this series and the movie is set in 1980s.

And also, this series reminds me of the movie "Earth to Echo."

In the episode "Chapter Seven: The Bathtub" when the children/kids is being chased by "Papa" and his group, the character Eleven/El, telepathically moved a vehicle between the kids and "Papa"'s group.

In the film "Earth to Echo" when the kids and Echo is being chased by military group(s), gumamit ng ability/ies and character na Echo para paghiwa-hiwalayin ang gamit na sasakyan at maibalik yung sasakyan.

The one with this version of the song "How Deep Is Your Love" by Bee Gees.

I never heard any of Damian McGinty's previous songs. I first learned about this cover version of his, is from his Instagram account.

I like his vsrsion.

A video posted by Damian McGinty (@damianmcginty) on

"Star Trek Beyond", U. P. Town Center, and Starbucks.

Yesterday, I was supposed to watch the first screening of “Star Trek Beyond” in Trinoma’s Cinema 5, because I’m already few minutes late, I decided to watch the second screening.

After I got my ticket for the second screening, I sat at one of the couches found in near Food Choices and wait. I watch other people walk, talk, and others. At the same time, there are people waiting in the Activity Center, who are fans of JaDine (a portmanteau to the names of James Reid and Nadine Lustre).

Around 2 PM I decided to eat my lunch at McDonald’s. I went to the 4th Level branch of the aforementioned fast food chain. But unfortunately, the branch don’t offer Fillet-O-Fish meal.

I went to the Ground Floor level of McDonald’s. And they offer the aforementioned meal. Thank God that a woman who is eating alone. So I asked her if I can share the table with her.

After that, I went to the bookstore, National Book Store, Fully Booked, and Powerbooks to buy a journal or a diary that less than 100 Philippine peso currency. I want to use the 100 Philippine peso currency in my BPI My ePrepaid Card. One staff/employee is clueless about the card. I didn’t tell her it was similar to a credit card. So I gave her a physical 100 Philippine peso currency. I was in a hurry at the time.

When to my relatives in Bahayang Pag-Asa. A town near Trinoma, SM North Edsa, Jollibee Mindanao Avenue, and McDonald’s Mindanao Avenue.

My mother, my older brother, my sister-in-law, my two nephews & I went to Maginhawa Street (also in Quezon City) to eat dinner. I don’t why we didn’t eat dinner to any of the restaurants located there.

We went to U. P. Town Center to eat dinner at The Primary. The last time I was there was last year to eat, but I don't remember the occasion, But I remember it was a Saturday.

At the restaurant The Primary. I only remember two: Truffle Parmesan Fries, and Seafood Paella. I forgot the other two.

After that, we went to Starbucks. Also in U. P. Town Center.

I'm not a collector of shoes.

This blog post is edited from my other personal blog.

Last Sunday, my folk & I went to SM City Sucat in Parañaque City to check the fruit stand located in Building A. When we were few meters away near Building A, I (a) saw banner(s) that the aforementioned shopping mall is currently conducting a 3-day sale.

My female folk bought some items for the house in The SM Store. While my male folk bought some pants in The SM Store. I saw some shoes that the price, I think, is 299 Philippine currency (peso), in The SM Store.

I also check the shoes being sold by Bench and Penshoppe. I noticed that the shoes being sold by Penshoppe are a bit expensive around 700 or 800 pesos, while the shoes being sold by Bench is quite/(a bit) cheaper than Penshoppe. (My messenger bag, my perfume, and my green-colored sneakers is from Bench, while my handkerchiefs and my other perfume is from Penshoppe.)

"You're not impatient buying shoes. The volume (quantity) to shoes." / "You can not put up with buying shoes. The volume (quantity) to shoes."

These two quotes from the book "Every Day" by David Levithan.

I don't know why I like these two quotes from the book "Every Day" by David Levithan. It was from the first chapter of the aforementioned book.

"Knowledge is the only thing that I take with me when I go."

"Putting up with the fear of being with the wrong person because you can't deal with the fear of being alone."

These social network apps on my early days as an Android user.

When before Instagram release a version for Android, I have the app called Picplz. Before, I just view the photos/pictures in the gallery section of Picplz.

I decided back then I will register soon, not until Instagram have plans to release on Android. I didn't expected that the behind Picplz will shut down the app.

After that, I looked a similar app to Instagram. I found Streamzoo.

Too bad, the app was shut down last March 21, 2014.

Before, Pixable is an app that you can view photos from other apps/websites like Instagram, Facebook, etc. But later on it became Buzzfeed-like app.

I don't know why I didn't download the app on the second the latest Android-powered cellphone of mine.

I didn't expected that, and I didn't know that Pixable is already shut down.

The one with this YouTube video from Germany.

I learned this (following) video when one of my nephews posted the video via the HypeDojo fan page on Facebook.

First, I don't know the language used in the video. Until I recognise the ü letter, and it was the German language.

And also, while watching the aforementioned video, I have these questions:

1) Why he's carrying a doll?
2) Why he's carrying doll items?
3) Why he's carrying a suitcase?

I checked the Internet via Google about Leibniz Butterkeks. It as named after the German philosopher Leibniz, and I just forgot his full name. Leibniz Butterkeks' products is cookies/biscuits.

I have a feeling that the guy and the girl is are older brother and younger sister. If so, I wish I have siblings like that.

The one with the name of the Welsh town that hard to pronounce.

I do know that there's a town in Wales that is hard to pronounce. The Welsh town's name is the longest name in the world, if my memory serves me right.

September of last year, a YouTube video went viral when a Welsh weatherman Liam Dutton nail it with ease.

Actors Naomi Watts and Taron Egerton pronounced the name on talk shows.

My time in college during rainy season.

The one with this 10-minute exercise.

Yesterday afternoon, I was browsing on my iOS device for exercises for less than 30 minutes. Until I found this workout.

Kaya lang, yung last 4 workouts uses barbells.

Here's the link.

iMiss eating at Yellow Halo Guilt-free kitchen.

I learned about Yellow Halo Guilt-free kitchen, when I was going to floor where 360 Fitness Club in Strata 100, Ortigas Center. There's a guy giving out fliers/leaflets about the café.

I eat there a few times. Kaya lang, Yellow Halo is already closed. I don't know why.

The one with this photo application.

As some of you may already know Pickld is featured on TV Patrol. After the segment's airing many people started downloading it on their respective iOS and Android devices. And I'm one of the people who download the app on my iPod touch and Android-powered Cherry Mobile cellphone Infinix Pure.

At the time I try to register, I couldn't able to register. So I submitted a feedback.

I have two (2) criticism on the app.
1) It is still on beta.
2) Currently that the app has no option on deleting an uploaded photo.

I hope the creators of the app make updates on the aforementioned app. The app also featured on Rated K.

Here's the video that featured on TV Patrol.

I just know if the Pickld team has plans on having an app on Microsoft Lumia.

iEat at Lido Cocina Tsina.

It was my first time to eat at Lido Cocina Tsina. And it was my first time to eat at their branch Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City.

Lido Cocina Tsina is a Chinese restaurant. And their branch at the aforementioned branch is small, and it has two (2) floors. And it is near/beside Phoenix Gas Station gasoline station.

Their food is like most Chinese restaurants. Pancit, fish fillet, rice, etc.

The one with watching the oath-taking.

Although I didn't watched the oath-taking on television, I decided to watch it on Rappler' live streaming via Facebook. Nagbu-buffer yung live streaming.

Napanood ko yung pagkatapos ng speech ni President Duterte, hanggang sa military honors while having my lunch.

The one being a first timer visitor, and being a first time diner.

Last night was my first visitor at Fisher Mall. Last night was also my first time to eat at Pedro 'N Coi as a diner.

I haven't the chance to roam around the aforementoned shopping due to the fact that my family & I went their to eat and celebrate my father's birthday (although he's currently in the Samar province) at the aforementioned restaurant.

The restaurant has two floors in the third/3rd level of the shopping mall. It has two/2 jeepneys to seat in; small jeepneys for the seasonings; and other items that I forgot that common here in the Philippines. The restaruant has also some Philippine history features.

Some of the food are good for 2 to 5 or 6 persons. And if my memory serves me right, it was design by beauty queen Shamcey Supsup.

The one with alternative learning system and homeschooling and traditional education.

K-12 education is implemented few years ago under the Aquino (A/a)dministration. There are families can't afford for their own reasons, while there are families consider this as a burden for them.

According to the news yesterday that aired at Balitanghali, Incoming Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary (Sec.) Briones is planning to pursue alternative learning system.

To be honest, in my humble opinion, it is ideal for the families mentioned above especially the students who want to continue to pursue their education.

On the other hand. There are parents wants their kids to be homescool(ed), while there parents enrol their children in schools. I'm planning to enrol my kids in schools like progressive schools, montessori schools, or other non-traditional schools.

I found a blog post regarding homeschooling and traditional education.

The one about mental illness.

May post ako sa Facebook at sa Twitter that making or cracking a joke on people with mental illnes ay hindi biro.

May Department of Health; Depart of Tourism; Department of Education; National Commission for Culture and the Arts; at marami pang iba.

I strongly suggest to ask or consult a professional doctor or specialist.

Here are some links I found on the internet.

The one on doing yoga.

I completely have no idea on why and how I want to try doing yoga. I saw video on the YouTube channel of GreenLivingonANC about yoga for kids. Yes, you read it right. Doing yoga for kids.

Here's the video.

The one about bullying.

Many of us who experienced being bullied, while some of us did not experienced it. There are schools are have "No Bullying Policy". While others experience being cyberbullied.

In my case, I experience both in some way.

Here are some insights:

1) On Middle School Misery

2) 2016 Miss Philippines-Earth cries foul

3) Miss Philippines-Earth reveals being a 'victim of pageant bullying'

The one with these workouts from a local cable TV show.

While browing the YouTube page of ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC), I learned this video only this year. The video was uploaded last July 2, 2013, Tuesday.

It has no commercials.

And I found a video that contains the introduction, the workout, and the end credits of the episode.

I found these exercises on the website of Green Living TV.

Turbulence Training

15 Minute Home Workout

The Urban Jungle Workout

10-minute Interval Workout

The one that I'm having a weight problem.

Oo, overweight/obese ako na tao.

Nag-gym ako dait. Way back 2003 or 2004.

The ads is located along ADB Avenue near The Podium.

I used to workout in my room. But for unknown reasons, hindi ko na ulit nagawa yun. I don't remember the workout I did. The workout I did are mga workout na puwedeng gawin sa bahay.

Yesterday morning, I'm considering to workout in my room. And yesteday morning, I searched some YouTube videos on my iPod touch. I could be wrong, but I think na puwedeng gawin ko ang mga ito. And I don't have some items or equipments featured in the videos. I-modify ko na lang siguro.

The one about the actor dies at 27 in a car accident.

"What would you correct from your past to save your future?"

I remember that I won a pair of movie tickets way back 2014, when Nuffnang Philippines conducted a movie screening contest of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" I don't remember my blog post. But I remember the idea of that/my blog post.

When I was kid, I have a-bit-higher-than-poor grades; I was bullied by students and teachers; I'm not an intelligent student. When I was a college student, I was also bullied by students and teachers. I already have a "job", I also being bullied by my "co-workers/colleagues". I am also being bullied by my family and relatives.

I also made mistakes since I was a kid/child.

If I am were given the chance to go back to the day I was born until now to change my future, I would.

If my memory serves me right, the question in the movie screening contest by Nuffnang Philippines is this: "What would you correct from your past to save your future?"

In physics there's a scientific law: "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction."

I don't know which part or parts of my past to correct to save my future. To be honest, I'm going to correct, in my humble opinion, most or majority of my past mistakes to be able to have a good future.

First, I'm going to disguise, and then study and help myself. When I'm already contented for what I'd done. I'm going to go back in time, and to know the outcome.

I first learned about 360 Fitness Club in two ways:

1) when I saw rectangular ads when I was walking along ADB Avenue in the side of The Podium mall
2) when a special education teacher I know follow 360 Fitness Club on Facebook

I want to try their free trial, but for some reason I couldn’t. These reasons are in random order:

1) I don’t have enough money to pay whatever installment I chose
2) I don’t know what my parents think if I wanted to workout there.

I do admit that I don’t know how to persuade my parents to work out at 360 Fitness Club.

On mountain hiking, milkshakes, carrot cakes, and liquid nitrogen ice cream.

Pangarap ko na makapag-hike sa mga bundok. Sa isang post ng When In Manila via Facebook regarding sa apat na mountains sa RizalProvince.

And title ng post sa Facebook ay: "Rizal-Hiking Starter Pack: 4 Awesome Mountains to Climb"

-------

Bihira ako uminom ng milkshakes. Pero ng may nabasa ako sa Facebook post ng Spot.ph na "Beat the heat with unlimited milkshakes", gusto kong mag-milkshake.

And I want to try these also.

-------

I do eat ice cream, but I haven't tried liquid nitrogen ice cream. I saw a "Suggested Post" on Facebook regarding liquid nitrogen ice cream.

I do love to try liquid nitrogen ice cream, but for monetary/financial reasons I couldn't.

We have Disney Junior on our television, and lately the aforementioned channel airs, during commercial, the theme "Dream Big, Princess".

At first, on my mind: "Who is the artist?", "What is the name of the song?".

Until one time, I remember that I have an app on my iPod Touch on recognising songs. The song was "Hall of Fame" and the artists are The Script and will.i.am.

Traffic at Edsa.

Yesterday aftenoon when my older brother, my sister-in-law, my two (2) nephews & I are going to The Peninsula Makati, I took the photo above.

I don't remember where it was taken but it was taken along Edsa.

On my mind before I took the photo, while taking the photo, and after I took the photo, I wish that all the roads, highways, boulevards, expressways, etc. are all in light traffic. And also, on my mind before I took the photo, while taking the photo, and after I took the photo, I wish all the motorists, commuters and the like follow traffic rules and regulations.

I remember that na nagkaroon ng sale ang Astroplus malapit sa Landmark Department Store sa Trinoma. And this is the CD I have.

I remember that my one of my brother & I watched movie at the aforementioned mall.

This breakfast meal from Greenwich.

There was a branch Greenwich along F. Ortigas Jr. Road (formerly Emerald Avenue) in Ortigas Centre. It was located on the Ground Floor of the building Raffles Building & beside Starbucks. I don't know why that branch closed. But that's not the pic of this post.

The post is about the Greenwich branches that offer breakfast.

I forgot the taste of those two hotdogs* and that scrambled egg. If my memory serves me right, the drink/beverage I have at that time is Coke.

The photo/picture was taken last December 23, 2011, Friday.

I also surprised that the Japanese film Attack on Titan is also competing on the aforementioned category.

Tacloban Vacation 2016, Day 11

My mother & I had our breakfast at the Downtown branch of McDonald's. This the 1st (first) branch of McDonald's in the City.

We bought some pasalubong. After arriving my aunt's house finalize our things to be packed up.

At lunch ae ate at a carenderia called Dahil Sa Iyo. When my mother & I arrived at my aunt's house, round 4 na yung laban nina Pacquiao at Bradley. And as you already know, Pacquaio won the fight over Timothy Bradley.

Tacloban Vacation 2016, Day 10

My mother and my aunt ay pumunta sa palengke para bumili ng ilang dadalhing pagkain.

Mga 2 PM until 4 PM, my mother & I went to Downtown. We brought a ukelele for my 4-year-old nephew. We went to the Downtown branch of Savemore. The Supermarket is 2nd/Second Floor, but the rest are stalls and stores.

We noticed that there is (a) small rally reading the Kidapawan incident.

Tacloban Vacation 2016, Day 9

We ate our breakfast at the restaurant of the hotel. We order Filipino breakfast consists of pineapple slices, rice, coffee, beef tapa for me, longganisa for my aunt, and danggit for my mother. I forgot the rest.

After we ate our breakfast, naligo kami sa pool ng nasabing hotel.

If my memory serves me right, 150 pesos ang total, lumalabas na 50 pesos per order.

That evening, we ate our dinner at Ocho Seafood & Grill. After that we had our after-dinner dinner at Giuseppe's Ristorante Italiano.

Tacloban Vacation 2016, Day 8

After waking up, the four of us pack some things, and took two habal-habals (motorcycle taxi) to a cemetery near the town of Bool West.

The four of us offered some prayers to my maternal grandparents. After that, we went to Agta Beach, nag-brunch kami, tapos nagligo sa beach, nagbanlaw, at nagempake ng gamit.

Before we going to the aforementioned hotel, we ate our "early dinner" at a branch of Jollibee. My mother and my aunt ate Burger Steak while I ate Big Burger Steak. I asked my mother na bumili ng large fries for takeout. And then, we rode a tricycle to Sabin Hotel. Of course, nag-check in kami.

At that time, may kainan na nagaganap. And the same time may mga coaches na na nagtuturo ng swimming lessons sa mga bata. And I went to our room.

Tacloban Vacation 2016, Day 7

My male cousin, my aunt, my mother & I took a van going to Naval, Biliran via Van-Vans. We arrived at the Naval Terminal at least few minutes before 11 AM, and took a jeep going to Agta Beach. We arrived at the Agta Beach around, if my memory serves me right, 1 PM.

We ate our lunch. My male cousin, and my aunt took a nap while my mother & I ask some of the employees in Agta Beach on how to get sa bungad ng Bool West. The four (4) of us wanted to visit the libingan ng maternal grandparents ko. And then, my mother & I took a nap.

Around late afternoon, my aunt, my mother & I swam to the beach near Agta Beach. After that, the three (3) of us, nagbanlaw kami. Between 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, we ate our dinner. At 8:30 PM, we went to sleep.
